The invisible chemistry gap

A certificate of analysis lists a handful of compounds. Your ingredient contains many more.

Conventional testing

A handful

of known markers. Easy to measure, and the same numbers every competitor quotes.

Adikai deep profiling

Far more molecules

Three complementary workflows map the full chemistry, then rank the bioactives by published evidence.

  1. Commodity positioning

When everyone tests the same markers, ingredients compete on price instead of value.

  2. Untapped bioactives

Compounds that published research associates with health areas often go unmeasured.

  3. A thinner evidence story

Without molecular data, your product story is harder to support with buyers and partners. Your regulatory team decides the claims.

What we do

We turn molecular complexity into commercial advantage.

From one ingredient to a full portfolio, we map the molecules and show you where the value is.

Plant Profiling

A full map of the molecules in your plants or ingredients, compared across species, suppliers or processes.

  • A full compound list, with our confidence in each
  • A plain-language readout of what makes each sample different

Bioactive Discovery

The compounds that matter, ranked by the strength of published human evidence.

  • The bioactives, with the level of evidence for each
  • How your ingredient compares with others in its category
  • Evidence your sales and marketing teams can use

Marker & Standardization

Pick the right compounds to test, then prove quality batch after batch.

  • The right markers, chosen from your full chemical map
  • Consistency checks across batches and suppliers

What you walk away with

Science that sells.

Reinvigorate

Give existing product lines a fresh story and open the door to new categories and markets.

Differentiate

Stand apart with a molecular story that is yours, not copied from a spec sheet.

Validate

Support your story with data your buyers and partners can check.

Build trust

Give consumers a reason to believe, backed by published research.

Case study

Functional mushrooms hold far more than the industry measures.

We mapped the chemistry of M2 Ingredients' functional mushroom portfolio.

M2 Ingredients × Adikai

Functional mushroom portfolio

We mapped M2 Ingredients' whole-mushroom portfolio across preparations. Each species held thousands of molecules and its own chemical fingerprint. M2 now uses the data in its positioning, trade media and a new quality marker.

4,000–7,000molecules detected in each species
Mostof the molecules we find are uncharacterized in public databases
Everyspecies showed its own chemical fingerprint
Hive Beverage × Adikai

BeePop, a newly formulated functional beverage

BeePop is a sparkling drink of fermented green tea, prebiotic fiber, real honey and fruit juice. We mapped its molecular signature in a peer-reviewed study of five ready-to-drink beverages. BeePop carried 39 compounds with reported bioactivity, tied with Pure Leaf tea for the richest bioactive profile of the set, and showed a distinctive botanical and honey-derived chemistry.

How it works

From sample to story in 4–6 weeks.

4–6 weeks from project start to finished dashboard.

  1. Discover

Three complementary workflows capture the depth and breadth of your ingredient's bioactives. One platform sees only a fraction.

  2. Annotate

Every bioactive is linked to the health areas it is associated with in published research. The evidence level is always shown.

  3. Explore

Your interactive dashboard holds the spectra, annotations, all relevant chromatographic data, links to published literature and clinical data where available, and the bioactive benefits of each compound. Built for cross-validation and method transfer to pilot scale.

FAQ

Questions we hear often.

What is metabolomics, in plain terms?

Metabolomics is the large-scale measurement of the small molecules in a biological material. Instead of testing for one or two known compounds, we measure as many as possible at once, giving you a molecular fingerprint of your ingredient.

How is this different from a standard certificate of analysis?

A certificate of analysis confirms a few specified markers. We show the broader chemistry, including compounds that are under-reported or undocumented, and link them to published research and clinical data where available, so you know which ones matter.

What types of ingredients can you analyze?

Functional mushrooms, botanicals and herbal extracts, fruits and vegetables, plant-based foods and beverages, supplement ingredients, and natural cosmetic actives. If it is a complex natural material, tell us about it.

How long does a project take?

Most projects take four to six weeks from project start. You get an interactive dashboard, a plain-language report and a live readout with your R&D and commercial teams. We confirm final timing on the call.

Is my data kept confidential?

Yes. We sign an NDA before the first technical conversation.

Can the results support marketing claims?

They give you the scientific foundation, not the claim. We show what published research associates with each compound, with the evidence level. Your regulatory team or counsel decides the final claim language.
