Functional beverage metabolomics: see the bioactives in every flavor

A label lists ingredients. It doesn't list the bioactive compounds in the finished drink. We profile the finished product, so you see what each flavor and base contains, and how a formulation change shows up in the chemistry.

478 compounds annotated across five RTD beverages. 42 matched known bioactives. BeePop, from Hive, and Pure Leaf tea had 39 each. Published in Metabolites 2026, 16(6), 404. Results were replicate-verified. Order BeePop.

This work is qualitative. Detecting a compound doesn't mean it is bioavailable at any dose. Each bioactive is annotated to the health areas it is associated with in published research, with evidence levels, in an interactive dashboard. 4–6 weeks from project start. Quantification is optional.

What we find:

  • Which bioactives are in each flavor, and how products compare
  • Health-area annotation, such as gut and barrier health and cellular protection, linked to published evidence
  • Replicate-verified results
